The theme of the symposium was Trends and issues in instructional technology and distance education. Ms. Keough gave the keynote address in the form of a power point presentation on the topic. Other sessions were:
The Classroom of the 21 st Century, moderated by JADOL Executive Member, Mrs Grace Martin-Hall, with presentations: The Impact of Technology on Classrooms of the Future, Dr. David Rand, UTECH; Equipment for the Modern Classroom, Ms Claudette Lindo, ‘Choose Your Time’ Training, Mr Derrick Thompson, Creative PowerPoint, Mr Carlyon Russell; Preparing E-Content, Ms Vilma Gregory, and E-Learning, Mr Sanjeev Kumar.
